Pharmacogenomics (PGx) is the use of an individual’s DNA to help predict or explain their response to medications. The pharmacogenomics clinic involves meeting with a pharmacogenomics specialist who will evaluate your need for pharmacogenomics testing, facilitate testing, and explain how your results may impact your medications. The pharmacogenomics specialist will work closely with the rest of your healthcare team to coordinate any medication changes necessary.
